When Webflow is the better WordPress path

Webflow is especially useful for marketing websites, landing pages, company websites and content pages where plugin maintenance, security updates and heavy themes take too much energy.

What gets protected during the move

  • URL export and redirect mapping for existing rankings
  • Transfer of important page types, media and metadata
  • Useful Webflow Collections and templates
  • Forms, tracking and consent checks before launch
  • QA for mobile, keyboard use, 404 pages and sitemap

FAQ

Answers about WordPress to Webflow.

How long does a WordPress-to-Webflow migration take?

It depends on scope. A lean marketing site with one or two dozen pages is usually doable in four to six weeks. Larger setups with grown custom post types, many templates or multilingual content need more planning and QA time.

What happens to my WordPress plugins?

Plugins are not migrated 1:1. We review which features are actually needed, replace them with native Webflow capabilities (CMS Collections, Logic, native Forms) or documented third-party tools, and drop the ones that only existed historically.

What happens to existing URLs?

We export the current URL structure, map it to the new Webflow setup, and prepare a full 301 redirect plan before launch. Rankings, backlinks and internal links stay intact.

Can WooCommerce content be moved as well?

Pure content (product copy, categories, media) yes — transactional logic usually not. If a real shop is running, we recommend a dedicated commerce solution rather than rebuilding it inside Webflow Ecommerce.
